All Driftwood Pens are distinctly made in Coquitlam BC, Canada by Trevor. Each Original Driftwood, RES’Q, Kaleidoscope and Fusion pen is made using material that has been foraged or comes from reclaimed items, the resin is coloured and poured in-house and the pens are hand turned by Trevor. He takes the time to select, mill, cut, turn, sand, finish and choose the hardware for each pen with deliberate intention. Each pen is different from the next making each one unique. Trevor celebrates the natural flaws, the knots, the discolouration and though he has the ability to remake certain styles, no pen is exactly the same – which means no claims of, “I thought it was mine”.

This one of a kind pen was created with pine cones that were collected near Oliver, BC and given a new purpose by combining them with blue and orange resin. The hardware selected for this pen has a Chrome with Gold accent finish. The pen is supplied in a protective reclaimed and re-purposed leather case and two ink cartridges are provided.
Pine cones are a symbol of enlightenment as well as life and growth but since they do not yet have any roots, it represents our dynamic potential. Red, the color of blood and fire, is associated with meanings of passion, strength, leadership and courage. Red is inherently exciting and naturally draws attention and black symbolizes strength, seriousness, power, and authority. This is definitely a fountain pen that is to be taken seriously.
** The ink is easily replaceable with a standard 38 mm long cartridges.
